Let's try something else instead...

HEY HEY HEY!

Its that time of the year again!
Which means... I present to you:
The free DLC for Rainbow Legacy!
Or just Hearth's Warming Stories Vol 4: A Little Holiday Cheer.

The reason I call it DLC for Rainbow Legacy is because this EP has tracks that were originally intended for Rainbow Legacy but didn't fit in the vibe and got discarded from the album.

Mostly these tracks were also started between 2021-2022 and got fully finished only now.

Traditionally, the first track is Shchedryk, a new version to say goodbye to 2023.

Followed up by ÆREAL, which originally was called "Cloudsdale Ascended". Yep, this track was the very first prototype for that song. Abandoned for a long time and finally finished. The working name was Aerial Empire but ÆREAL just looks dope as heck.

A Little Holiday Cheer was called "Skyhouse" as its working name. It was supposed to be a house collab which never happened. Now its finished as... Whatever this is. Its a fun song.

Zephyr Nights is a small and chill piece originally made for VibePoniez, but it didn't make it in there. It got saved for other possible album submissions but eventually was retouched a little bit and ended up here.

Welcome to my Cloud - now this is an interesting one because this track got rejected from Equinity, Ponies at Dawn and A State of Sugar sequentially.
The reason for that is because this song was an experiment and fully composed in Nexus 4. No other instruments, no external plugins. Only Nexus 4.
No wonder it got rejected LOL.
In the end I realized that if I turn off the awfully dry factory reverb from Nexus and use external plugins for processing, it actually sounds pretty neat.
So this is the final version of it here.

And with those 5 songs, we got out holiday EP for 2023.

On this note, I wish you all a happy new year, and a good, healthy and prosperous start for 2024.
